The rubber mat for coffee tempering is an interesting device for modern baristas and a new product that has come out of our press-machines.
One of the stages of making coffee in a horn-type coffee machine is coffee tempering. This stage is performed manually – the barista presses ground coffee in the horn (and in professional circles this process is called “tempering”). Then the horn with pressed ground coffee is inserted into the coffee machine and the direct process of making the drink takes place.
It is to make the tempering process more convenient and efficient, and special rubber mats are used. The mat prevents the horn from slipping, it also prevents the possibly damaging the work surfaces or the surfaces of the coffee machine.
Such a simple device makes the process of preparing coffee more comfortable and faster.
